In high school, I was a part of the Crusade, the student media organization group. As part of the Crusade, I was the editor-in-chief of the Paladin, the award-winning student publication, and a yearbook editor. I won both writing and design awards from Columbia Scholastic Press Association, Kansas Scholastic Press Association, Wichita-Area Journalism Educators, and more. I began my love for journalism and graphic design during these four years.
